Last month more than 20 graphic communications teachers from around Georgia gathered in Natalie Hynson's graphic communications lab at the Central Education Center in Newnan to learn the latest tips, tricks and techniques on Adobe's CS3 and CS4. Adobe graciously provided expert instruction from Claudia McCue to teach the session. Dan Campanga, graphics instructor at Walton High School went home with a brand new copy of CS4 donated by Adobe.
PIAG is in the planning stages of two more teacher training sessions in July. On tap for the GACTE conference July 21 and 22 is a hands-on session at Hewlett Packard's Digital Solutions Center. Slated for July 22 - 24 is Camp T and I. A full-day session with Printing Industry of America's Joe Marin discussing how creatives and printers can work together for better outcomes is planned. Be on the lookout for more information on these two teacher training programs.
